Sheila is one of the country's most experienced and best-loved music theatre stars, with a career that spans 60 years working all over the world.
Sheila has worked with all the big names in Aussie showbiz - Gordon Chater, Rob Guest, Simon Gallaher, Todd McKenney, Ron Haddrick and spent many years in Paul Sharratt's OLD TIME MUSIC HALL on the Gold Coast.
Professional appearances have included lead roles in the major professional touring productions of CRAZY FOR YOU, JOLSON, HELLO, DOLLY!, FOLLIES IN CONCERT, ME AND MY GIRL, MY FAIR LADY, MAME, THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE, and in panto and theatre restaurant.
Sheila has performed in several pantomimes for Top Hat Productions, and recently performed her one-woman show THE CAT, THE RAT and ME, written by Tony-Award nominee (and co-Patron) Tony Sheldon, at the Melbourne Cabaret Festival.
Sheila was brought to Australia in the 1950s by J.C. Williamson's to play the lead in GRAB ME A GONDOLA, and since then has had leading roles in ONCE UPON A MATTRESS, the original Nancy in OLIVER, THE KING AND I, FINIAN'S RAINBOW, THE WIZARD OF OZ, NUNSENCE 11, THREEPENNY OPERA and numerous straight plays and comedies.
She is delighted to be a Patron of the Gold Palm Awards, which she believes encourages people of all ages to be part of the Performing Arts.
